Our client one of the UK's leading providers of on-campus residential and academic accommodation infrastructure are looking for a Multi Skilled Technician (Electrician) to join their Team.
We are looking for people who can commit to starting in January 2023 for an 18-month contract so there's a total of £1500 loyalty bonus available, with payments made throughout your contractLocation:

Hours: 37.5 hours per week
As the skilled technician you will work as a member of a team providing both a planned and responsive maintenance service, specialising in electrical repairs.
This will include:
- Undertake maintenance within the residences in a safe working environment, assessing all Health and Safety issues before work commences and report any hazards identified to the relevant Manager
- Carry out reactive maintenance in accordance with the Service Level Agreement and provide front line response for all plumbing and mechanical work
- Carry out PPM in accordance with the schedule
- Maintain accurate records of breakdowns and maintenance repairs, including records for statutory compliance and liaise with specialist subcontractors
- Carry out statutory testing including emergency lighting, fire alarm testing, fire door testing and more
- Carry out statutory testing including PAT testing, fire alarm testing, fire door testing and others, as required
- Report any Health and Safety issues relating to the residences ensuring all information is passed to the relevant persons
- Worked in a similar role and environment with a Fully qualified electrical engineer status
- Qualified to City & Guilds th Edition and able to demonstrate experience and qualifications in electrical installation or an electrotechnical background.
- You will also possess great communication and organisation skills, along with the passion to do a great job.
- In addition, you will have a good understanding of the operational procedures and safe working practices of building services and systems as well as good understanding of health and safety, with the ability to always work in a safe manner.
- You will also be prepared to work (with notice) additional hours when the needed, especially during the main student arrival and departure weekends, and assist at different sites when required
