Description

The post holder will provide help and care in basic activities of daily living of social and emotional support to the client group under the supervision and direction of a Registered Mental Nurse.


To undertake identified allocated tasks in relation to the care environment, and in relation to the direct care of the patient / client group as identified by a Senior Nurse in accordance with UHB policies and procedures.


To aid all clients as far as is necessary in daily activities of hygiene, dressing, diet and encouraging social activities and providing emotional support as directed by qualified staff on duty and as directed by care plans.


We are currently recruiting Band 2 Healthcare Support Worker looking to work within our Mental Health Services for Older People Inpatient Services.


We are seeking enthusiastic, highly motivated and compassionate individuals to join our existing teams, to provide high quality of care.

Internal shift rotation is in operation including nights, twilights, weekends and bank holidays.
