In this pivotal generalist role, you will further develop and lead the people function of HR, L&D and Education professionals and be responsible for driving forward the People Strategy and people initiatives that supports the charity to deliver our strategic ambitions including leading on developing and managing employee wellbeing and diversity matters across the organisation.


We are looking for a credible professional who can demonstrate resilience, build effective relationships and be a source of knowledge and experience.

You will have proven HR experience, demonstrated competence of managing an HR function and be able to work independently, and collaboratively as required, with the ability to adapt to different styles and not be afraid to challenge where needed.


With excellent interpersonal skills, you will work with the Director of People to maintain and improve existing HR policies, systems and processes, develop new processes, and will have the opportunity to help shape policy and direction of the People aspects of the organisation.


You will be a role model for our values at all times and will act as an ambassador for St Peter's in all that you do.

You should be passionate about employee welfare, but also meticulous with your professional and considered approach to legal compliance.
