Head of Marketing

Our client is looking for a Head of Marketing who leads and owns the entire marketing operation throughout their Automotive dealership group, responsible for, but not limited to, Sales & Aftersales Marketing of the various brands represented by the dealergroup.

The individual will have led a marketing team in the past and delivered growth in brand awareness, engagement, and return on investment, whilst managing annual budgets and spend.

Someone that is comfortable with making important decisions within the businessunit according to the plan and strategic direction set by the board, and one that will manage, coach and mentor the team on a daily basis striving for individual development.

The successful applicant will be a doer, an individual not shy of getting stuck into the daily operations, comfortable and competent to manage high pace environments with a need to constantly drive innovation and activity, and one that is comfortable withflexibility during the events season (Spring to Autumn) for event set up.

Role Requirements

Minimum 3 years in Head of Marketing or equivalent within automotive
(required):
Minimum 3 years in leading a team of min 2x FTE
(required):
Excellent ability with software systems and suppliers e.g.

Kerridge, DealerWeb, Google Ads, Auto Trader, Hey Car, Trust Pilot, Judge Service, Moneypenny, Infinity Tracking, Comms Provider etc
(required):

Experience in delivering new website and or digital platforms into a business from A-Z
(required):
Numerate and articulate to the managerial level, with strong budgeting and data analysis abilities
(required):
Degree in Marketing
(Preferable):
Located in South Yorkshire area
(Preferable)

Directly Responsible To:

Sales and Marketing Director

Responsible for:

Digital Marketing Manager, Vehicle Marketing Manager, Digital Marketing Executive, Events Co-ordinator
