Graduate Commercial Management Trainee


Salary:
£20k + bonus OTE of £8,000 - rising to £22k + bonus OTE of £8,800 on successful completion of training (12 months)

Reporting to**:
Commercial Director / Head of Affiliate and Partnerships

Hours of work:
Normal working hours are from 9:30am to 5:30pm, with an hour for lunch - Candr Media works a hybrid model tailored on a role by role basis

Overview of the role
Candr Media is looking for the brightest young talent to join the team on our Graduate Commercial Management scheme. This is an exciting opportunity within a dynamic team with excellent opportunities for quick progression.

The role and areas of learning will cover ecommerce, developing our consumer technology relationships to sell digital advertising, creative solutions and licensing across our key brands.

There is an emphasis on consultative selling, relationship management and negotiation.

Key tasks and responsibilities


As a graduate management trainee for the industry leading Candr Media brand, you will develop skills in account management and sales within the consumer technology category, with the potential to work across further brands as the role develops.

This position is a customer facing role where we will hone your skills in consultative sales.

There will also be the opportunity to get creative, working with the management team as we continuously look for ways to enhance our client offerings with new product and sponsorship ideas.


As you progress within the scheme you will gain unrivalled experience and understanding of digital advertising, licensing, affiliate and ecommerce as well as working with global consumer tech brands on multifaceted partnerships.

You will need to be proactive, efficient, organised and interested in people and technology. There is key emphasis on consultative selling, relationship management, negotiation and data analysis.

The training scheme also comes with a generous bonus program which will be based on:

  • Being actively out in the market each week.
  • Establishing multilevel contacts within your client base, who will vary in size as you develop.
  • Using the sales skills we teach you to sell and increase revenue and market share.
  • Delivering regular performance reports on Candr Media's ecommerce activity.
  • Developing analytical skills and the ability to make data driven recommendations for improvements.
  • Adopt a test and learn approach to continually improve and grow Candr Media's channels.


You will gain a strong understanding of the technology and online reviews industry keeping well informed with industry changes, competitors and awareness of our brand's performance within the market space.
