Job Overview
Stowe seeks an enthusiastic and inspirational Head of Art to lead and further develop this exceptional department.

A willingness to contribute fully to the Department while also adding to the extra-curricular and pastoral life of a busy boarding school is essential.

Qualifications:

Post Graduate Certificate in Education

Specialist Skills & Experience

A minimum of five years' teaching experience.
Demonstrate vision for the short, medium and longterm strategic development of the Department and Art School.
Basics of financial management (departmental budgets)
Managerial and administrative experience within a teaching (or equivalent) environment.

Personal Skills

A willingness and commitment to participate fully in the pastoral care, School duties and extra curicular activities.
An ability to motivate, enthuse and influence with strong interpersonal skills.
A commitment to safeguard and promote the welfare of children.
