About The Role
***This is an exciting new role to join a fast-growing food manufacturing business based in Stroud, Gloucestershire.

Devil's Kitchen puts the environment at the heart of everything we do. We don't use palm oil in our foods, or any GMO or air freighted ingredients.

We have partnered with Carbon Cloud to analyse the carbon impact of each ingredient we use.

From this we know that the carbon footprint of our foods is about 90% lower than that of a beef burger.

Using UN certified offsetting programmes, we sell our products as net carbon neutral into any kitchen across the UK. Our foods are packed into pioneering home-compostable case liners, rather than traditional plastic.


We are looking for someone to come on a journey with us; to develop your own skills and experience as the business grows.

Reporting to the General Manager, the role will be varied and cover:


  • Processing of sales orders and invoices
  • Developing our production planning system and the ordering of raw materials
  • Liaising with our logistics partners
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and accurate paperwork for compliance with our BRC accreditation
  • Operating a forklift truck to handle goods in and out on our site
  • Management of the raw materials and finished goods stock
  • Picking of raw materials ready for production
  • Preparing of sample packs for customers Occasional interaction with our customers

Working week is 36.5 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 8:00am - 4:30pm, Friday 8.00am - 3:30pm however this role can accommodate a flexible working pattern to give you work/life balance.**
About You

Knowledge, skills and experience:Educational/Experience Requirements:


  • High level of numeracy and confident in IT

Skills:


  • Passion, energy, tenacity & integrity to help us deliver exceptional customer service levels and achieve our targets for growth
  • Organised able to multitask effectively, with excellent time management
  • A strong communicator, speaking daily with a variety of internal and external colleagues
  • Physically fit and able to undertake manual handling duties
  • Experience of MS Business Central an advantage
  • A full and valid driving license and a FLT license (training for the latter can be provided)
