Description

The post holder will have sessional work on the Frailty Assessment Unit (FAU) where they will work alongside the Frailty consultants to deliver comprehensive geriatric assessment to patients presenting at the front door.

These sessions will involve reviewing short stay patients to a maximum of 12 patients or working within the ambulatory assessment area.

The number of patients within ambulatory will vary each day but would not be expected to exceed 8 patients.

Applicants must be eligible for inclusion in the GMC Specialist Register and should have CCT in Geriatric Medicine and General (Internal) Medicine (or equivalent), or be within six months of this at time of interview.
