About the Role

We are looking for a talented construction lawyer to join our established LexisPSL Construction team. Delivering and maintaining legal practical guidance, industry insight, horizon-scanning and online solutions for construction law practitioners.


Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for creating and maintaining practical guidance, tools, and templates for construction law professionals. The primary objective is to deliver indispensable content that our customers love.

To do that, you will need to keep your finger on the pulse of construction law and legal developments, and engage with practicing construction lawyers.

- Creating, developing, and maintaining a market-leading content set for the PSL module modules- Devising and writing practice notes, precedents, checklists, flowcharts- Monitoring developments relevant to our customer base- Working closely with LexisPSL Hub to produce a market-leading current awareness offering- Providing news and analysis- Engaging proactively with customers and contacts in law firms and the construction industry- Assisting with customer questions via customer feedback or the LexisAsk service and developing Q&A materials


Requirements:


  • UK qualified lawyer, with significant experience in construction law
  • Excellent knowledge of construction contracts, important construction law concepts, and the key legislation in the field of construction law
  • Awareness of the legal issues and developments affecting the construction industry and construction law practitioners
  • Strong grasp of contract law, and familiarity with other areas of law that underpin and affect construction contracts and projects
  • Excellent research, organisation and planning skills
