Job Purpose:

To sort internal and customer returns quality issues
Be able to interact with other departments to ensure production is not affected.
To provide appropriate support, advice and guidance to the production team on any relevant issues.

Responsibilities:

Sorting internal quality issues
Must have a good understanding of quality issues that arise from each internal process.
Should be able to prioritize sorting requirements to ensure production is not affected.
Should be able to use an handheld or stand on pallet truck to be able to transport work to their work station and back to WIP.
Sorting customer returns
Must have a good understanding of quality issues that arise from customer complaints.
Should have a good understanding of customer specifications when sorting customer returns.
General
Will be expected to learn other activities within the quality department. (taint tests, internal auditing)
Should have a basic IT skills to record sorted work for good and rejected products.
Should be aware of the cleaning regime and will be expected to help keep the sorts and surrounding areas as clean and tidy as possible.
Will be expected to work under instruction in other areas if required
The company hygiene policy should be adhered to at all times, this includes the dress code and jewellery policy
Will be expected to be on the shop floor in time to carry out an effective shift change over.
