Leading FMCG Organisation are seeking a Regulation & Compliance Officer.
Remote Working

Job Purpose:

The Role:

Ensure product compliance with regulations and legislations in relevant global markets
Liaise with consultants and third parties to support ongoing compliance in international territories
Provide strategic advice to senior management throughout the development of a new product
Communicate scientific and regulatory developments and policies clearly
Monitor scientific, technical, and regulatory developments
Maintain and organise the company's QMS including compiling new SOPs and policies, updating existing SOPs and policies as needed
Maintain the ongoing regulatory knowledge base to ensure full product compliance in each territory
Assess claims acceptability and review artwork to ensure compliance.
Support the review of product information and labels for compliance to global requirements
Provide regulatory guidance for new ingredients and formulations.
Review company practices and provide advice on changes to systems
Ensuring established policies or procedures are used effectively across the business and playing a part in policy/procedure development in situations where there is no precedent.

Skills:

Have extensive experience with regulatory compliance, preferably within the polymer industry.
Have a thorough understanding of EU, UK, US and other international regulatory requirements.
Have a university degree in science and engineering or a degree related to regulatory affairs.
Understand the importance of delivering on time and accurately and working to internal deadlines.
Good communication skills able to communicate technical information to nontechnical staff.
