Experienced Support Staff

£20.00 Per Hour + £0.40pence per mile
Must have Level 3 or above in Health & Social Care

  • Supporting young people with a Therapeutic and Holistic approach.
  • Engaging with children is going to be your key responsibility, setting examples, and building excellent rapport to enable independence.
  • Leading a team of skilled staff ensuring they are supported and trained to an excellent standard.
  • Providing emotional support for both children and staff alike.
  • Ensuring wherever possible an excellent relationship with families/ carers and professionals.
  • Tasks including: rota management, supervisions, shift leading, medication, writing care plans and risk assessments, liaising with social workers and other professionals, on call remote management,referrals.
  • Understanding and knowledge of safeguarding processes and policies.
  • Keeping a record of support and focusing on positive outcomes for the children you support.
  • Working in a team to motivate others.
We have fixed and variable shift available.


Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time

Part-time hours: 24-42 per week


Salary:
£20.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 12 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Night shift

Experience:


  • Care home: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • NVQ Level 3 Health & Social Care (required)
  • UK Drivers Licence (preferred)
