Allied Universal are recruiting for a GSOC Supervisor to join their dedicated team working for a prestigious corporate client in Central London.


You will join the Global Security Operations Centres (GSOCs) which act as communication and situational awareness hubs protecting the Firm's people, assets, and operations.


As a GSOC supervisor you will join a 24/7/365 team providing analysis, incident handling, crisis management, and operational situational awareness in support to the Firm across the region.


Responsibilities:


  • Responsibility for regional situational awareness, gathering information from internal and external sources to provide a common operating picture of events and incidents that may impact the Firm's people, assets, or operations
  • Producing a suite of written products such as regional situation reports, staff and travel advisories, location threat assessments, incident notifications and reports, and incident response communications
  • Monitoring and administering travel and event security operations, ensuring all travel to risk destinations is assessed, approved, and provided the required support
  • Supporting the firmwide Crisis Management structure administratively and logístically by convening crisis team meetings, minuting calls, and providing written and verbal updates to crisis team members
  • Acting as the first point of contact for security, life safety, travel and other related enquiries from across the Firm
  • Working closely with the Alarm Monitoring Centre (AMC) to manage access and incidents at the Firm's critical facilities

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Proven ability to successfully balance a varied and dynamic workload
  • Sound geopolitical awareness and an understanding of the threats posed to an organisation's people, assets, and operations
  • Demonstrated ability to produce highquality written reports or briefs at pace
  • Strong and confident communication and customer service skills
  • Experience in a Security Operations Centre, crisis management or incident response function, or similar role
