Contract Length:
Until end of December
Hybrid Model: 50/50% between Central London office & remote
About the Client and Role:
Key Responsibilities:
- Support existing security systems to provide effective levels of security to the business community and protecting the Banks assets.
- Develop written processes, clear documentation and knowledge sharing presentations to enhance productivity, cross skills and single points of failure throughout the team.
- Execute and support Security, or wider IT, projects acting as a gateway to receive security authorisation for the project to continue in a designated systems implementation.
- Where required, provide support during weekends to support systems when required in the case of service outage, upgrades and other types of maintenance work.
- Ensure systems availability according to Service Level Agreements throughout the PD-ITSD group to achieve high productivity and efficiency in its service to the business by following the correct best practise procedures for security systems or methods.
- Participates in incident response teams to contain, investigate current, and prevent future computer security breaches.
- Ensure IT security systems are compliant with applicable regulations, policies, codes and industry guidance; defines standards and implements controls to remediate gaps.
- Background within banking / financial environment
- Experience in Security Systems Engineer / Vulnerability Management Analyst positions
