• Van
• Splicer/tester
• Fuel card

• Perform cable splicing and termination for various types of cabling systems.
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to rig and secure cables.
• Operate a bucket truck for accessing elevated work areas (preferred but not essential.)
• Use electrical tools and equipment to complete splicing tasks.
• Climb utility poles or other structures as needed.
• Conduct utility locating to identify cable pathways.
• Operate bucket truck and other heavy equipment for cable installation and maintenance.

• Previous experience in cable splicing on Virgin Media networks or similar.
• Familiarity with mechanical principles and techniques.
• Proficiency in operating a bucket truck and other heavy equipment. (Preferred but not essential.)
• Knowledge of electrical systems and tools used in splicing work.
• Ability to climb utility poles or structures safely and efficiently.
• Ability to read schematic drawings (maps/FAS etc.)
