Mercer is seeking a Trainee Accounts Administrator to work out of our Manchester office.


You will be joining a team who provide a reliable and professional standard of cashflow services for a portfolio of clients.

All work is completed following internal guidance, policies, best practice and meets client service delivery levels.

ACCA /AAT study support is provided to help you establish yourself and thrive in a career based in Finance.

We will rely on you to:

  • Prepare cashflow forecasts, investment instructions, receipts, and payments.
  • Monitor the receipt of contributions by the relevant due date.
  • Plan and prioritise own workloads and tasks in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Efficiently deal with all queries received (either through the mailboxes or directly).
  • Be accountable for the standard and quality of own work.
  • Complete all associated routine tasks, following agreed business procedural requirements, including accurate time recording, use of standard templates, peer review, efiling & workflow.

What you need to have:


  • Grade A-C (or equivalent) in Mathematics & English
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Ability to follow processes.
