Role:

Housing and Debt Outreach Caseworker

Salary:
up to £23,000 per year pro rata


Hours: 24 hours per week


Contract:
Permanent


Location Based in Cannock, currently a blend of office and home working.


The
Role
You will assist in the delivery of housing, debt and benefit advice services to clients face-to-face and by telephone referred by Cannock Chase District Council Housing Options team and the Incomes team by pre-arranged appointments


Applicants will:

  • Be enthusiastic and dynamic team players with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work independently.
  • Have experience of providing housing, debt and benefit advice.
  • Have knowledge and experience of project working in a target led environment would be an advantage.
  • Have experience of Partnership working.
  • Be computerliterate, although training on our case recording systems will be given.
