Our client in the North London is recruiting for a Building Surveyor with Diagnostics

for visiting customers in their home and identifying defects which are the Councils responsibility to repair.
They will be required to undertake training.


Main Duties/ Key Skills / Qualifications


To deal with repair issue cases referred to them, diagnose the cause and arrange for works to be carried out.

This will include the assessment of condensation cases including damp and mould and drafting reports for presentation tom the High Value Repair Panel.


  • The ability to diagnose building defects and recommend the associated remedial action.
  • A surveying or construction related qualification (not essential).
  • Organised and proactive able to manage their own calendar and caseload.
  • Social Housing surveying experience (not essential).
  • Ability to produce specification of works using a schedule of rates.
  • A good understanding of damp, mould and condensation.
  • Office based.
  • Access to pool vehicles
