Senior Mechanical Engineer - Thermal Systems - £50K- £70K - London - Automotive Mechanical Systems
I'm currently recruiting for a leading global automotive technology company in London.

They're looking for a talented, enthusiastic and driven Senior Mechanical Engineer with a background in EV/hybrid powertrain systems and thermal systems analysis.

Youwill have the opportunity to design and implement heating and cooling systems for commercial electric and hybrid vehicles as well as playing a big part in the R&D department.


Main Duties Include:


  • DFM
  • 3D CAD design (Siemens NX preferred)
  • R&D
  • FEA/ CFD Analysis
  • Prototyping and testing

Skills and Experience Required:


  • Experience with 2D/3D CAD Design (NX preferred)
  • Experience with automotive hybrid/ electric vehicle systems
  • Good knowledge of MATLAB (other programming languages accepted)
  • Experience/knowledge of full product life cycle
  • Knowledge and experience with CFD/FEA Analysis
  • Good knowledge of Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
Salary will be between £50,000 - £70,000 depending on experience. The company also has a wide range of benefits including private healthcare and company pension schemes.
