Key Responsibilities:


  • Help repair relationships with stakeholders who see Procurement as a barrier more so than a valueadd team. This will include heads of department, directors and C-Suite stakeholders such as the CFO. All about changing mindsets and Procurement's reputation
  • Bring Procurement leadership to a function that needs direction and the implementation of procurement best practice
  • Manage a team of 4 Procurement Managers
  • Mixture of delivery and a strategic role

Key Skills:
  • Excellent stakeholder stills
  • able to make an immediate impact, change mindsets and drive confidence in Procurement
  • Gravitas and confidence
  • Ideally experience in a greenfield, brownfield or transformative Procurement environment
  • Leadership skills able to manage, coach and develop a team whilst also driving a Procurement transformation
  • Transport industry experience is not needed but would be beneficial
  • Degree/CIPS/equivalent qualification would be useful
