Description

We are looking for a new Courier Collection Driver within the Woking District to join our dedicated team.

We are a growing Third Party Courier company based in Chertsey KT16 and are quickly gaining more and more customers locally.

This is a part time/permanent role between the hours of 13:30-17:30.

between the set hours, you will be required to collected all parcels from business and personal customers alike and return them all to the depot to allow them to be sent on a Next Day delivery service.

You will be given your own LWB van of which can be kept at your address so no need to commute.

Responsibilities:

Safely and timely transport packages from customers' locations in a professional manner
Load and unload collected items while following specific routes and time schedules
Conduct pretrip vehicle inspections to ensure operational safety
Provide excellent customer service during collections
Maintain communication with dispatch to ensure efficient routing

Requirements:

Ability to lift heavy packages and perform physical labour throughout the workday
Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
Previous experience in a warehouse or as a delivery driver is preferred
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers
Proficient in driving vans and operating delivery vehicles in a safe manner
