Description
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic childcare coordinator to run our busy Out of School Care service.

You will be caring for and supporting children from primary 1 to primary 7 as well as coordinating and supporting a staff team and the daily running of our Out of School Care Base.

Key duties;

  • To liaise daily with OSC Manager, attend a daily meeting to discuss any matters which may arise and to pass on any information to the appropriate people.
  • To collect OSC children, take base register, make sure all children who should be in attendance are present and following appropriate procedures if they are not.
  • Ensure the hall is set up appropriately for the children attending, making sure it is a safe environment for all using the service.
  • Ensure registers are up to date, informing management immediately of any changes or errors. (Register correction sheets/ telephone call).
  • To make sure risk assessments are completed daily; indoor, outdoor, fire and any additional risk which may arise.
  • Arrange fire drills on a regular intervals
  • Administer medicine for which parents have given consent to.
  • To organise children and staff into appropriate clubs/ activities and experiences. Ensuring there are activities available for all children.
  • To liaise with parents, giving verbal feedback on what their child has been taking part in, highlighting any particular successes or achievements.
You are required to be qualified to an SVQ level 3/HNC Level or above

Working hours -7:45am

  • 9:00am
  • Breakfast Club 2:00pm to 6pm After School Care Club (term time contract)

Salary:
£10.29 per hour
