Full-time (35.5 hours)
DUTIES
- Provide high level administrative support to the Quality Enhancement Managers.
- Prioritise workload in terms of Validation and Review (V&R) activities ensuring deadlines are adhered to.
- Take proprietorship of drafting factual reports for V&R activity as required, making sure key themes are identified.
- Monitor V&R data for accuracy and completeness, to take up proactive action to implement data improvements.
- Liaise with the administrative team to guarantee all V&R documents are prepared for and archived electronically.
- Take responsibility for confirming UK border agency requirements are met regarding the appointment of External Assessors.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- GCSE A level or hold an equivalent qualification/have relevant equivalent experience.
- Experience successfully managing project work as well as diaries.
- Demonstrable administrative experience.
- Show excellent use of IT skills (MS office), Outlook and the ability to work with variety of software packages and databases.
- Show ability to meet deadlines with a minimum of supervision with a flexible approach to work.
REPONSIBILITIES
- Continually review and suggest enhancements to V&R administrative practices with the aim to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the University procedures in relation to V&R activity.
- Drafting correspondence and preparing routine paperwork with consummate accuracy. For example, drafting the Memorandum of Cooperation. Those are legal contracts by which the university and collaborative partner abide by.
- Take ownership of recording expenditure and preparing invoices for submission to Finance, as well as being responsible for controlling costs and working within specific budgets when organising V&R events.
