Our People and Culture

We have invested in our organisational culture over the past 3 years and encourage everyone to be their true self at the Museum.

We want to increase the diversity of the people who work and volunteer at Brooklands Museum and we are developing a strategy, Opening Up Brooklands, to make sure this happens.

We have worked with our staff to define the culture that we want at Brooklands Museum and as a result, our team have committed to ensuring we all feel involved, supported and appreciated, by working as one team, communicating thoughtfully, being proactive and showing we care.

Brooklands at its best, every day_

We are working together internally and with external partners to promote a more inclusive and diverse environment, not just at the Museum but within the industries with which we have links, such as motorsport.

We are proud to be a mindful employer and have trained mental health first aiders to support our team.

We provide access to a wide-range of online training courses for staff, as well as an employee benefits programme and a twenty-four hour employee assistance helpline.
