The talent agenda is a critical element of the Five Arrows proposition, both pre
- and post-deal. We are now seeking to hire an ambitious professional to play a key role in supporting the development of the function.

Overview of Role

To provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the team in Five Arrows.

Although the assistant will work for specified individuals, there will be a requirement to work for/with other members of the Division, including other secretaries, to help balance the workload.


Responsibilities:

Diary Management

  • Complex diary management across numerous team members
  • Taking responsibility for the smooth running and successful delivery of meetings and other events including attendees. papers, logistics (e.g. travel, video conferencing, other technical requirements)
  • Acting as a "gatekeeper" ensuring that their diary is an accurate reflection of commitments that they intend and are able to meet
  • Anticipating and resolving issues in advance e.g. conflicting meetings
  • Organising Board meetings, investment committees, and other senior management committees; coordinating with other Rothschild & Co offices, external advisors, management teams of companies we have invested in and Investors
  • Ensuring availability of venue, equipment and any hospitality in respect of meetings, conference calls etc.
  • Organising client dinners/entertainment and inhouse lunches
  • Assisting in the coordination of team events (AGM and team off sites)
Travel

  • Responsible for organising all necessary hotel and travel arrangements (international and domestic) as required, including foreign currencies, hotels, visa requirements etc. (note travel is frequent among the team and this is a key part of the role)
  • Responsible for accurately preparing travel itineraries which include contact details, key addresses etc. and any relevant documents (such as bios of new contacts)
