Quality Inspector
We are currently looking for experienced Quality Inspectors to join our team.

We are a well-established precision engineering company, manufacturing components for the aerospace sector.

The applicants must also have a thorough understanding of engineering drawings, geometric tolerances, and general assemblies, whilst maintaining a high degree of professionalism and attention to detail.

The applicants will be required to maintain the quality of the company's products, ensuring they comply with the requirements set out within the ISO 9001 certification, and all relevant documentation is completed before leaving site.

Your duties will include

• Quality inspection of components using a CNC CMM Machine
• Identify nonconforming components or processes
• Using manual inspection micrometers, callipers & shadow graphs etc
• Select the correct gauge type for the tolerance being checked
• Working to complex engineering drawings
• Completion of inspection reports and producing FAIR's when required

Essential Skills and Competences

• Being able to set up processes and procedures from scratch and follow them
• A willingness to go into the detail
• Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing
• Knowledge of Quality, Quality Assurance and Inspection
• Selfmotivated and confident
• Previous quality inspection within a manufacturing environment
• Be organised and methodical with the ability to multitask
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Excellent time management
• Experience and understanding of working in aerospace, would also be beneficial

This is a permanent full-time position

• Alternative shift pattern Mornings / Afternoons
• Salary £15 £17 per hour
