Summary

The children, staff and Governors at Baines Endowed Voluntary Controlled Primary School are now seeking to appoint a caring and enthusiastic classroom Teaching Assistant, who is experienced in Behaviour Management, to support one of our Key Stage 2 classes.

The contract type is part-time - 20 hours a week initially, with a minimum of 5 hours and a maximum of 30 hours.

This position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful the salary received will be paid on a pro -rata basis.

The closing date is 9am on 6th December 2023. The interview is week commencing 11th December 2023.

Essential Qualifications

NVQ level 2 or above qualification appropriate to the post (or equivalent)

Level 2 or equivalent qualification in English/Literacy and Mathematics/NumeracyEssential Experience

Experience of working with or caring for children of relevant ageDesirable Experience

Experience of working in a relevant classroom/service environment
Experience of Administrative work
