We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate psychology graduate to join our outstanding primary school in Hackney as an SEN Teaching Assistant.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a graduate looking to train as a Clinical or Educational Psychologist.


As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support to students with special educational needs (SEN) in a mainstream classroom setting.

You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to plan and deliver interventions thatare tailored to the needs of the students.

Your role will also involve using your psychological knowledge and understanding to support the emotional and social development of students with SEN.

In this role, you will be assessing and monitoring the progressof students with SEN, and helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

To be considered for this position, you must have a degree in Psychology or a related field. Experience working with children with SEN is an advantage but not essential. You must have a strong understanding of the curriculum and different teaching methods,and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to work as part of a team is also important. Most importantly, you should have a passion for education and making a difference in the lives of children.
