Ocean Import Clerk

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Ocean Import Clerk to join a fantastic company in their friendly and supportive team based in Chandlers Ford.

As an Ocean Import Clerk, you will be required to carry out various duties which include:

To arrange ocean import shipments from point of origin to door
To contact overseas agents, coloaders, and shipping lines
Requesting releases from coloaders and shipping lines
Booking deliveries with shipping line and merchant haulage companies.

You will also require the following experience for the Ocean Import Clerk position:

Providing quotations to existing customers
Ensure invoicing is prompt and up to date
Knowledge of Destin8 and CNS
Working knowledge of Cargowise including custom entry side would be an advantage, although training can be given
Good organisation skills
Working independently and as part of a team
