Empowering Learning is a leading educational organization committed to providing exceptional support and guidance to students. We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistant to join our team.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational development of students, ensuring they receive the assistance they need to thrive academically and emotionally.

Responsibilities:

Provide oneonone or small group support to students, assisting them with their learning activities and assignments.
Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students.
Assist the teacher in implementing lesson plans and delivering engaging activities.
Support students with special educational needs, ensuring their specific requirements are met.
Collaborate with the teaching team to assess students' progress and provide feedback.
Monitor and manage student behavior, promoting a respectful and productive classroom environment.
Support students in developing their social and emotional skills.
Assist with administrative tasks such as preparing materials and maintaining records.

Requirements:

Fluent in Welsh (written and spoken) is essential for this role.
A relevant educational qualification or teaching assistant certification is desirable but not mandatory.
Previous experience working as a teaching assistant or in a similar educational setting is advantageous.
A compassionate and patient nature, with the ability to build positive relationships with students.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
A genuine passion for education and supporting students' growth and development.
Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students.
