A classic PLC Controls Engineer role with this fast growing British manufacturer of food processing machinery and systems selling to the UK & Worldwide.

You will need to have experience in programming Siemens &/or Allen Bradley PLC's and be commutable toPeterborough. You will need to be prepared to travel abroad about 1 week every 2 months. There is some remote flexibility after probation.

BASIC SALARY:
up to £60,000 on your experience

Site Based in Peterborough with occasional worldwide travel (1 week every 2 months)

JOB DESCRIPTION:
PLC Controls Engineer, Controls Engineer - food processing machinery / capital equipment

This is a classic PLC Controls Engineer role with responsibility for all PLC controls design work involving programming of Siemens & Allen Bradley PLC's, sign off pre delivery of all control systems and liaising with contractors and suppliers and of courseclients.

You will be expected to travel to client sites worldwide to assist in commissioning for 1 week every 2 months on average.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:
PLC Controls Engineer, Controls Engineer - food processing machinery / capital equipment

You MUST have a proven track record as a PLC Controls Engineer
You MUST be able to write PLC programmes using Siemens &/or Allen Bradley PLC's
You WILL be a qualified Electrical &/or Electronic engineer
You will be prepared to travel abroad 1 week every 2 months
