Job Overview:

We are currently looking for a dedicated Warehouse Operative to join our team at Carbon3.

This role is essential to the smooth functioning of our warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient management of inventory, adherence to health and safety standards, and timely execution of logistics.

Key Responsibilities:


Health and Safety:
Adhere to health and safety protocols within the warehouse.


Warehouse Organisation:
Assist in setting up the warehouse with location areas as directed.
Support in maintaining up-to-date records of warehouse plans.


Inventory Management:
Assist in monitoring and maintaining minimum stock levels for fast-moving items.
Support in replenishing stock through established supply chains.


Logistics and Operations:
Collaborate in coordinating daily picks for engineers.
Assist in taking and checking deliveries, ensuring items match purchase orders.
Support in general warehouse operations, including loading/unloading tasks.


Warehouse Maintenance:
Assist in maintaining warehouse cleanliness and orderliness.
Support deliveries/collections to/from sites using company vehicles when required.


Stock Control:
Assist in managing goods in/out and returns to maintain accurate stock levels.
Support in the allocation of stock as needed.


Team Support:
Work collaboratively with the warehouse team.
Provide assistance and absence cover to other team members as required.


Qualifications and Skills:


  • Previous experience in a warehouse or similar role is a plus.
  • Forklift experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Basic understanding of health and safety practices.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Physical fitness for tasks involving lifting and movement.

Salary:
£19,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
