Overview:

Duties:


  • Greet and seat guests in a friendly and courteous manner
  • Present menus and provide detailed information when requested
  • Take food and drink orders accurately
  • Relay orders to the kitchen and ensure timely delivery of meals
  • Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed
  • Uphold food safety standards and ensure cleanliness in the dining area
  • Engage with guests to enhance their dining experience and provide excellent customer service
  • Utilise upselling techniques to promote additional menu items

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is advantageous
  • Ability to work well in a team and collaborate effectively with kitchen staff
  • Proficiency in basic maths for order taking and bill calculations
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanour
  • Willingness to learn about culinary offerings and menu items
