Your Role:

Day to day:

  • Reviewing sports content, checking facts to ensure stories are accurate and legally safe and subbing to the Scottish Sun's high standards, quickly and accurately.

  • Regularly stepping up to join the chief subbing team.

What we're looking for:

  • Experienced subeditors who ideally will already have worked on a sport desk.
  • Sports fans who have a passion for sport and a good allround knowledge.
  • Team players who will slot seamlessly into a friendly subs desk.
  • Tabloid storytellers who can spot hidden gems in reams of copy.
  • People who are eager for responsibility and the chance to advance their careers.
