The Potting Shed is an independent cafe within Markeaton Garden Centre on the north side of Derby. We are delighted to be hiring a Barista to join our team

We are seeking an experienced barista with a passion for coffee and customer service.

The applicant must have at least 1+ years as a Barista.

About our Baristas/Cafe Staff

Can create a buzzing atmosphere

Focus on customer service & getting to know our regulars

Sound knowledge of coffee extraction and dialling in

Proficient and consistent latte art skills

Someone who is a team player, outgoing and friendly, who will enjoy becoming part of the family

Willing to help in other areas of service (Kitchen, floor etc.) when required

Wants to pass on their knowledge to their team members to help them learn and improve

Proactive and flexible

Full of ideas and passion


Salary:
£10.00-£11.20 per hour


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

  • Tips

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Derby: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:


  • Barista experience: 1 year (required)
  • Hospitality: 1 year (required)
