The Food Hub Ltd is an event catering company based in Weston super mare. We are seeking catering assistants to help on our mobile catering units at two Christmas markets during December. One unit is in the Bristol area and a further two units in Cardiff.

The job involves basic food preparation, serving customers, cleaning down & washing up.

Experience of hospitality is preferred but full training will be given.

The Christmas markets run seven days a week from 30th November until the 1st January 2024 and only closed on Christmas day.

Good rates of pay which are dependent on experience not just age.

Preference will be given to staff who can do a majority of the dates, this includes Boxing day, New years eve & New years day.

The hours are full & part time but will always involve weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities:

Assist with food preparation and presentation for catering events
Set up and break down catering stations and equipment
Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are followed
Provide excellent guest service during events

Skills:

Strong hospitality skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
Experience in food preparation and handling
Knowledge of hotel or restaurant operations
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Basic culinary knowledge is a plus
