Job Title - Quality Engineer

£ 40,000- £45,000 p.a. + benefits ; pension + 25 days holiday + early finish Friday

Are you a Quality Engineer looking for the next step in your career? We are looking for a Product Quality Engineer who would be comfortable working in a fast-paced automotive environment, with some quality engineering experience in high volume manufacturingprojects.

As a Quality Engineeryou will;

  • Implementing process control programs that will assure production of finished goods that meet or exceed customerspecified requirements.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects by utilizing the appropriate quality tools and provide data analysis
  • Assure compliance of the documented quality system and promote consistency throughout the organization
  • Monitor and revise quality documentation as required.
  • Review all production methods for compliance to quality standards and for improvement of product and quality standards
  • Maintain customer contact and relationship
  • Lead and facilitate problem solving and the corrective action process for customer complaints and warranty, maintaining the complain log
  • Facilitate Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) with Engineering in conjunction with advanced qualityplanning activities and monitor the status throughout production life
  • Develop, implement and maintain Statistical Process Control techniques
  • Visit customers and suppliers when necessary
  • Initiate and validate corrective and preventive actions with the suppliers for immediate containment actions
  • Support with NPI related activities and maintain required documentation

  • Formal qualification such as a HND, Degree or equivalent
