Scottish Water is seeking a Management Assistant to support one of its General Managers accountable for delivering capital investment projects along with two of the Delivery Managers in that team.
Job Description:
Management Assistant providing support to the DV2 General Manager and the Regional Hub Managers for the North and East.
You must be able to manage multiple tasks with competing priority levels.
You should also be detail oriented, highly organized and self-starting with a broad skill set to support various tasks which include:
- Providing administrative support by answering phones, forwarding accurate and detailed messages and making arrangements for special and routine meetings, including coordinating meetings rooms/external venues and schedules with other departments-
- Organising and collating information requests and regular reports from across the management team either directly and/or in conjunction with other Management Assistants
- Assist in preparing presentations
- Provide administrative and communications support to projects
- Coordinating travel arrangements, meetings, interviews and conference calls
- Prepare and process expense reports.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements include:
- High school level qualifications (diploma) or equivalent from an accredited institution
- Two or more years in an administrative support role in a professional office environment
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
Required Skills:
- Demonstrate a strong initiative and customer service orientation
- Demonstrate sound judgement and make independent decisions
- Maintain strict confidentiality
- Strong oral and written communications
- Can-do attitude.
This role can be based at our Fairmilehead office, Edinburgh or our Stepps office in Glasgow.
