Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant - St Albans, Hertfordshire - January Long-term to permanent basis - £80 to £100 per day depending on experience

Tradewind Secondary are working with a well known and leading school looking to appoint SEN TA's / LSA's to work with a variety of students with a range of additional requirements and educational needs.

**SEN TA / LSA - St Albans, Hertfordshire - £80 to £100 p/day depending on experience

**January 2023 start - Long-term to permanent contract roles ideal for those looking to progress onto further training or move onto teacher training in the future.

About the School - SEN TA / LSA

Tradewind is proud to be supporting the local Trust of Secondary Schools across St Albans, supplying each of these unique 7 schools we have a range of options to suit.

SEN TA's and LSA's (1:1 workers) are required by each of these schools to work with variouspupils and support the different SEN Teams.

Supporting pupils Mainly in key stages 3 you will be targeted to engage pupils in their learning and provide support where required.

Many pupils are behind due ot the ripples of the pandemic, Maths and literacy skillsare key as is the ability to converse with pupils of all abilities.

For those with experience or confidence you maybe asked to lead small groups of 3-6 of pupils grouped by ability.

The eagerness to immerse yourself into school life, extra curricular activitiesor sporting events will be advantageous.

Role requirements - SEN TA / LSA

We are looking for staff with an obvious passion to support and help pupils with special needs.
Ideally with experience of SEN in an education or youth work basis however full training is available for those without expedience
Be available to work 8:303:30 Monday
Friday during term time until July 2023 as year as consistency is key for these pupils and the school
