Salary:
£45-50k inc shift

Hours of work:40hours per week (3pm - 11pm Mon - Thurs, 1pm - 7pm Friday)

Syntech Recruitment are recruiting for a talented Production Supervisor to join a prestigious motorsport manufacturing business based near Twyford on their Twilight shift.

This role will strongly suit an individual who is experienced around production planning around a CNC workshop.
Prior work experience within an aerospace, defence or motorsport environment would be a bonus.

Production Supervisor Duties:

Developing machine shop procedures in coordination with company standards and objectives
Supporting Production Manger prioritising and maintaining work schedules based on production deadlines and ensuring deadlines are met
Periodically checking machining operations to ensure operations are working to tolerance.
Maintaining a reporting system that reflects schedules, performance, and procedures.
Making budgetary recommendations for capital expenditures and manpower for machine shop area.
Supporting TPM with production team leaders
Generate maintenance schedules with maintenance manager
Continuous improvement of manufacturing processes to achieve cost, quality and delivery objectives

Production Supervisor Profile:

Commuter literate Microsoft Office product and use of an ERP system for Job loading, job logging, running reports, run time analysis
Strong knowledge of the equipment within a machine shop, experience of manufacturing precision parts to tight tolerances on CNC machines, lathes and millers.
Demonstration of good housekeeping techniques, continuous improvement, 5S reviews, TPM activity, organising equipment maintenance and repairs.
Three years post qualification experience in Automotive, Aerospace, Motorsport Engineering and/or Manufacturing.
Previous experience in a Production Engineering environment is ideal
3D modelling, 2D drafting for manufacturing / production
Excellent organisational skills
Initiative and enthusiasm working calmly to deliver required projects
