Companies House are looking for an experienced content writer to write clear and engaging content for their brand-new microsite.


The microsite will go live in Spring 2023 when the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency Bill gets royal assent and the site will be a central hub of information for their customers, stakeholders and colleagues and will be a vital tool in making sure our audiences know about the upcoming changes, how they'll be affected, and what they need to do by when.


Content will need to be in plain English and suitable for a wide variety of audiences with different levels of knowledge and understanding & we'll need to use behavioural nudges in our content to encourage our audiences to take the appropriate action/s.


As a Copywriter your main responsibilities would be:

  • Write clear and engaging content for the new website.
  • Write a combination of highlevel storytelling narrative, alongside more detailed information about legislative changes.
  • You'll be part of the digital content function within our external communications team & will work alongside the Head of Service and Policy Communications, the Communications and Compliance Lead, and our two Digital Content Managers.
  • Although your primary focus will be to write content for the microsite, you'll also have the opportunity to collaborate with the rest of the team on related content for our other digital channels.

You'll have relevant experience in:


  • Experience in writing content for the Public Sector

Desirable experience:


  • Experience in writing content for government channels and with knowledge of the GDS (Government Digital Service) style guide.
  • Please be aware that this role can only be worked within the UK and not Overseas._
