Fairfield House - Part Time Night Support Worker


Salary:
£11.00 to £12.70 per hour - dependent on qualifications and experience


Other Benefits:

About us


Fairfield House is allied to the parent site of Winslow Court which specialises in the care of young adults with severe learning difficulties and associated challenging behaviours.


The Role


We are seeking a part time Waking Night Social Care Practitioner to ensure the safety of the residents we support during the night.

It is an average of 15 hours per week on a two week rolling rota.
The hours will be Friday, Saturday & Sunday - every other weekend.

Your role will be to ensure the safety of the young people we support during the night.

If successful you would be required to stay attentive throughout the night and doing everything possible to safeguard the young people who we support.

Administering medication, supporting residents if they wake during the night, providing assistance with personal care or emotional support. As well as updating paperwork and some domestic tasks, typically deep cleaning bathrooms and kitchens. It is essential that you have a natural respect for the individuality and dignity of those in our care

Essential Criteria
You must be at least 18 years of age and have the following:

  • The ability to work under pressure in challenging circumstances
  • An ability to identify and undertake any training necessary to develop within the role
  • A valid current driving licence.
  • Basic ICT skills
