Are you ready to embark on a rewarding journey as a Librarian in the vibrant city of Leeds?

Then look no further - We're currently offering an opportunity for a Librarian to work Full-time for 5 days a week in a School in Leeds on a full-time basis starting ASAP until December 22nd of this year.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Librarian or similar role.
Passion for literature and education.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Familiarity with digital resources and technology in libraries.

Your Role and Responsibilities:
As our dedicated Librarian, you will play a pivotal role in creating a vibrant and inviting space that encourages a love for reading and exploration

Your key responsibilities include:

Select, acquire, and organise a diverse range of books and educational materials that cater to the interests and needs of our diverse student body.
Develop and implement initiatives to promote literacy and a love for reading among students. Organise engaging library programs, book clubs, and reading challenges.
Work closely with teachers to support the integration of literature into the curriculum. Provide resources and assistance to enhance classroom learning.
Stay abreast of digital resources and assist students in navigating online databases, ebooks, and other digital tools.
Ensure the library space is wellmaintained, organises, and conducive to learning. Assist students in locating and using library resources effectively.
