Role overview


You will lead our creative team and oversee the design of innovative and engaging digital experiences that enhance our clients' brands and captivate their audiences.

You will develop and implement creative strategies that meet our clients' goals, while also pushing the boundaries of what is possible in digital design.

You will have experience delivering outstanding creative work, experience with latest trends in digital design, and a collaborative approach to leadership.


As a Creative Director at Brandwidth, you will:

  • Lead and inspire a creative team in the UK & USA to produce exceptional digital experiences for our clients.
  • Partner with account leads and strategists to understand our clients' goals, target audiences, and brand identities, and translate those insights into effective creative strategies.
  • Ensure that all creative work meets the agency's standards of quality, usability, accessibility, and brand consistency, meeting our clients' requirements for functionality and performance.
  • Participate in client presentations and meetings to promote the agency's creative vision, respond to feedback and questions, and build trust and relationship with clients.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as development, project management, QA, Sales & Marketing to ensure that creative work is delivered on time, on budget, and with the highest level of quality.
  • Balance the needs of different clients, teams, and multiple projects.
  • Stay up to date with latest trends and best practices in digital design, UX & UI, and bring new ideas and approaches to the team.
  • Mentor and coach team members, provide feedback and guidance, identify areas for improvement, and help them grow professionally, while also empowering the senior members of the team to do so for their direct reports.
  • Contribute to the agency's culture of collaboration, and innovation, and help build the agency's reputation as a leader in digital customer experience design.

You will bring:


  • 8 or more years of experience in digital design, UX & UI, within an agency environment or equivalent setting.
  • Experience conceptualising, designing, and delivering effective digital experiences across multiple platforms and channels.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and manage a team of digital designers and UX/UI experts to achieve outstanding results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate creative concepts and strategies to both internal and external teams.
  • Proficiency in relevant digital design and prototyping tools, including Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to use user experience insights and data to inform creative decisions and improve performance.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in design, marketing, communications, or related fields is preferred, but not required.
