Description
Key responsibilities for the successful Temporary Accounts Assistant will include:

  • Matching, batching and coding purchase invoices
  • Carrying out supplier statement reconciliations and supporting with the payment runs
  • Setting up new suppliers
  • Raising sales ledger invoices and allocating outstanding monies to the ledger
  • Managing credit limits and negotiating on payment plans
  • Processing expenses and managing petty cash
  • Preparing online banking payments as required
To be successful in this Temporary Accounts Assistant role you will ideally have/be:

  • Immediately available or on a short notice period
  • Be happy to commit to the 12 month contract work and will be reliable
  • Previous experience of a busy, varied transactional finance role or will have purchase ledger experience
  • A hands on approach and will be happy to help in all areas of accounts when needed
  • Strong attention to detail and will be able to meet multiple deadlines under strict deadlines
  • Computer literate and have experience using MS Excel

Job Types:
Full-time, Temporary contract, Fixed term contract, Temp to perm

Contract length: 12 months


Salary:
£24,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
