CUH Theatres is offering a fantastic opportunity for qualified nurses to join our team of Perioperative Practitioners, including in Anaesthetics.

If selected, you will be enrolled into a funded PgCert in Perioperative Care, part of theMSc in Perioperative Medicineof University College London.

Training in this role will include completion of the Anaesthetic Practitioner module within the PgCert and 6 months of training on-the job, through a clinical education programme fully endorsed by Cambridge University Health Partners.


You will be able to complete 2 other core modules (theory) and a forth (choice from 'post-anaesthetic care', 'surgical first assistant' or 'critical care') within 2 years, to attain the PgCert and to become pluripotent in the area of Periops.


We aim to develop you to your full potential and offer various other post-qualification routes for continuing development, including enrolment on our band 5 Development Pathway, Immediate Life Support Courses and ILM Level 2 Award in Leadership and Team Skills.


In addition to providing services for the local population as the region's major trauma centre, Addenbrooke's is a centre of excellence for national specialist services in Organ Transplantation.
