Portable Conveyors Ltd. is one of the UK's leading suppliers of used and refurbished materials handling and processing equipment to the quarrying and recycling sectors. We also provide and an extensive range of parts and spares, and offer a breakdown call-out service to our customers.

Due to continued growth we are looking to appoint a
Site Fitter.


The successful applicant will:

• Be an experienced plant fitter and mechanical engineer who has extensive knowledge of diesel engines and hydraulic systems
• Be knowledgeable on 12v electric circuits
• A competent welder/fabricator (MIG expected, TIG an advantage)
• Holder of a Site Safety card (SPA or equivalent) and FLT license

When you are not working on our plant and equipment and ensuring that everything is running smoothly in the workshops, you will often be working on equipment at our customers sites, usually quarries or recycling plants.

You will be the public face of Portable Conveyors, be reliable, diligent, polite, discreet and with an exceptional attention to detail.

£25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year

- knowledge of engines, electrics and hydraulics: 10 years (required)
