Hours:18.5 hours
per week


Location:
Wakefield and Castleford College


We are looking for a passionate and committed Care & Early Years lecturer to join our team, where you will provide outstanding teaching to ensure that all our learners succeed and achieve their highest potential.


As a Lecturer in Care & Early Years, you would teach on a range of programmes from Level 1-3 across Health and Social Care and Early Years.


We are looking for enthusiastic professionals who can promote a culture of excellent behaviour, motivation and high learner performance through excellent standards of teaching and learning.

In addition, you should be an excellent team player and have a passion for supporting students to succeed. Ideally, you will hold a Degree in Childcare/Health & Social Care or related discipline.


Not yet qualified but interested in getting into teaching?


If you have not previously worked within the Education sector but have considered a career move, you may be suitable for the Department of Education - Taking Teaching Further initiative, which employs industry specialists direct into Further Education.

You will receive an enhanced support package whilst you gain a Teaching Qualification. This opportunity can be discussed at the interview stage.
