Accounts Assistant

Nes ton, Wirral

Part time hours per week)

Up to £30 000 pro rata

28 days holiday including bank holidays pro rata ,
Free parking, Pension and Annual Performance based bonus, Hybrid (Flexible), Laptop.

We are looking to speak with experienced Accounts Assistants to work a minimum of 21 hours per week for an accountancy practice client of ours based in Ness, Neston on the Wirral.

They are a successful firm of Accountants established over 12 years ago offering a one stop service to small limited companies.

What you will be doing:

Bookkeeping
Preparation of limited company accounts
Preparation of sole trader and partnership accounts
Assistance with tax returns (personal and corporation)
Preparation of VAT returns
Liaising with clients to deal with accounting and tax issues.

What we are looking for:

Minimum of 1 years experience working in an accounting practice.
AAT and/or partqualified Chartered or Certified Accountant qualification is an advantage.
Ability to undertake the duties autonomously.
Working knowledge of IRIS Accounts production or a similar package
Experience of using Xero, Sage or similar.
