Reporting to the Product Director for Denplan and leading a team of five, our Head of Product will be responsible for the roll-out of key initiatives to enable Denplan and the Simplyhealth group to meet its business and commercial objectives.

You'll shape and simplify a complex product, setting and delivering a broad and high priority strategic agenda.
You'll be directly connected to customers and end users, seeking more innovative ways to enhance their connection.

Key responsibilities

Leading the Product teams to achieve our business objectives, with laser focus on delivering value to customers via incremental product development
Own the execution of these key initiatives, working closely with engineering, design and data
Evangelise and align the product vision across teams and functions to create a resultsoriented culture
Develop a deep understanding of your product area, making and communicating effective tradeoffs between customer, business, and technology
Creating an environment where Product teams are empowered to solve customer problems, and collaborating with other teams to align and execute with confidence
Combine user research and rigorous data exploration, defining which projects and features we need to prioritise and setting a timeline to hit those goals
Define key results for the product and synthesise these with customer and business insights
Managing 5x

Product Managers:
providing day to day support, coaching and career progression for the Product function

Defining the product strategy, taking a digitalfirst approach to solving our customer problems
Leading the quarterly planning and road mapping processes for Denplan
Collaborating with the Product Director (who holds P&L responsibility) and Sales Director to determine pricing and market strategy
Be a key driver of defining and executing Denplan's product vision and strategy, working with stakeholders across the business

About You:

***As we focus on future growth, we're looking for a seasoned Product professional to lead the change.

To be successful in the role:

You'll have substantial experience in hands-on product development, as well as managing a team of product managers gained in a B2B or B2B2C regulated business
You'll be user obsessed you are passionate about designing and building great user experiences with experience of identifying behavioral insights and using this to form the product strategy
You'll have a strong analytical mindset with an obsessive focus on data to achieve business goals and meet user's needs
You'll be a natural consensusbuilder and comfortable working with a broad range of stakeholders (from engineers and designers to marketing, sales and finance)
You'll have the ability to context switch in the detail whilst keeping in mind the bigger picture product vision
You'll be selfmotivated and outcome driven, with an ability to challenge the status quo and articulate a path to get there
You'll have excellent communication skills and strong commercial acumen, including skills in market analysis and pricing
